Senior Director Treasury - Financial Model Development

Overview:
This position is responsible for leading the Financial Model Development team in Treasury and develops financial models applicable to capital stress-testing, asset liability management, liquidity risk management, fixed income cash flows analytics, including models used in line of business projections.
The leader in this role ensures coordination between the Model Development team and other stakeholders across Treasury and Finance functions ensuring models are fit for purpose and are maintained in accordance with internal model risk management standards.
Directs team in model design and development methods commensurate with FCB's model requirements, regulatory expectations and maintains effective controls and governance on model assumptions and uses.
Provides coaching and guidance to staff to ensure continued alignment with organizational culture
Responsibilities:
Business Strategy - Leads the Financial Model Development team in Treasury and develops financial models applicable to capital stress testing, asset liability management, liquidity risk management, fixed income cash flows, and analytics, including models used in line of business projections.
Leads technical model development and model support.
Business Support - Establishes appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods aligned with accepted model risk management practices and internal standards that stand up to extensive review and challenges.
Implements standards ensuring sufficient data quality and integrity supporting effective model performance monitoring.
Reporting - Coordinates timely delivery of model output results such as balance, attrition, prepayment and pricing projections, under a range of interest rate and macro variable scenarios.
Model results will include rigorous support and documentation of methodologies, assumptions, limitations, and sensitivities, for capital stress testing processes, recurring interest rate sensitivity measurement, and other business volume projections.
Represents model development practices during reviews with internal audit and regulatory examinations.
Managerial functions - establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals.
Makes appropriate changes to department policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives.
Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff.
Maximizes department achievements by providing guidance and professional development.
Relationship Development - Communicates and collaborates with Financial Risk Management and Model Risk Management in the 2nd line of defense frequently allowing free flow of information between groups and timely model validation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience in Banking Treasury or Finance OR High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of experience in Banking Treasury or FinancePreferred Education:
PhD or MSPreferred Area of Study:
Quantitative fields such as Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, EngineeringPreferred Area of
Experience:
Risk Modeling, Model Development, Analytics in Large Financial Institution, Experience leading in a large, diverse organizationLicense or Certification Type:
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) RequiredSkill(s):
Understanding Modeling Development and Controls, Strong problem-solving skills, Strong knowledge of financial systems, Critical thinking skills and Strategic focus, Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information Recommended Skills Asset Liability Management Auditing Chartered Financial Analyst Critical Thinking Data Analysis Data Quality Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
